| Q/. Can I set up a development store to build my site with and then upload to the production server? A/. You can run as many versions as you like for development on your local machine. The licence only requires that you have one production store. When creating new sites ensure that you change the xshopid name in shop$config.asp to something unique. You need to do this for every site you create including your main one.
You can run YVS locally using either http://localhost/yvs500 or http://127.0.0.1/yvs500 without a licence key. We provide one testing key and one production key for use of remote servers.
The licence keys provided work for all sites running under the same domain as long as you use the same order number and the domain the testing or production url the key was generated for. printable version Back to Main Page |
