Overview:
An electronic payment gateway is a service provided by company that validates credit card details before the transaction is authorised.
The credit card checking is done in real time. This means they can normally catch stolen or invalid cards. After the transaction has been validated and processed funds are transferred according to arrangements made with your gateway company.
Gateways are not associated with YourVirtualStore and we do not recommend any specific gateway. YourVirtualStore and Gateways
YourVirtualStore Shopping cart DOES NOT REQUIRE that you use an electronic gateway. You can process payments with or without credit cards using YourVirtualStore. You process them as you would any phone or mail order but all the details are stored in the YourVirtualStore database.
What Gateways Does YourVirtualStore Provide Interfaces For?
YourVirtualStore can integrate with most electronic payment systems.We currently have free add-ons for YourVirtualStore sites for the following systems.

We supply 2 licences free per licence. For subsequent gateway interfaces a charge of US$50 per interface is applied.
New Gateway Development
Normally new gateway support requires two new files. One to format the request to the gateway and one to handle the response from the gateway. If you want, we can quote a cost for doing new gateway support. |
